I remember posting somewhere once in a thread about why girls aren’t exploited in animation anymore where some guy said, “all the disney girls are drawn to be generally attractive, but I don’t think there are any eye-candy men… or are there? Are there any Disney men that lots of girls like?” and I mentioned Roger. Tons of girls replied agreeing with me and the original guy was like “wait, Roger? from 101 Dalmatians? What’s attractive about him, he’s tall and lanky and has a big nose, he isn’t muscley at all! Wouldn’t you all prefer Gaston or something? Or do you girls think his big nose is indicative of something else?” and I was like “no, you idiot, he’s a silly, goofy guy who likes animals and can play a bunch of instruments, that’s why he’s attractive. What’s the matter with you? Gaston, seriously?”

This is why we need more girls in animation. And more guys like Roger apparently.

I found a recipe for it that can easily be made at home without having to pay for a Disneyland ticket! -2 cans (20 oz. each) DOLE Crushed Pineapple -2 tablespoons lemon juice -1/3 cup sugar -1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons juice. Set aside. Blend the pineapple, lemon and lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice until it is smooth. Freeze about 1-2 hours. Stir the pineapple slush into the whipped cream and freeze. Serve when completely frozen. MAKING THIS RIGHT NOW AHHHH

No singing, no dancing, no long expositions about her plans, no tolerance for bumbling comedy sidekicks (she electrocutes a whole room full of minions when she finds out they’ve fucked up and spent the last few years searching for a baby), just outright malicious intent. I mean let’s take a look at her motivations compared to other popular Disney villains:SCAR - Wanted to become King.  URSULA - Wanted to rule the seas. WICKED QUEEN - Wanted to rule as the most beautiful woman in the land. JAFAR - Wanted to rule in the Sultan’s place and/or obtain ultimate power. Maleficient, by contrast, didn’t want any of that. She didn’t want more power. She didn’t want fame. She didn’t want to rule. She just wanted to raise hell. This is the woman who decided that every newborn child in the kingdom should die and that the land should be covered in darkness for one reason - SHE WASN’T INVITED TO A MOTHERFUCKING PARTY. That’s right, the evil bitch basically condemned an entire kingdom to die at her hands because she didn’t get invited to a christening. This is not a woman with a motivation. She cannot be reasoned with. Her actions cannot be rationalized. She is evil for the fun of being evil, not because she wants something. THAT, my friends, is the ultimate villain. One who knows they’re evil and LOVES it.  This is amazing, like omfg and this is why she’s my fave. unapologetically badass.

She would have spent the rest of her life in a tower to protect her father, and get him out of the beasts castle. If you were a prisoner, especially to a horrible, scary, huge, disgusting beast, you’d be crying too. Ariel? She was crying because she felt like she wasn’t good enough for her father. She was a bit odd and liked collecting things. And sure, one of those “things” happened to be the prince, but she was an outcast to the rest of her family. That’d make you cry, too. Now, Jasmine, if you do recall, was being forced to marry Jafar when she wanted nothing more than to see the world beyond the palace walls. That’s not “waiting for prince charming” - she didn’t want to get married, but she also knew she wasn’t going to let herself be forced into it by a power-hungry sorcerer. Aurora is crying because, genius, she just found out her entire life is a lie. And sure, she just found out she’s a princess, but wouldn’t that be a lot to find out on your sixteenth birthday? Not only did she just meet the first man she’s ever laid eyes on, but she was taken from her home, under the cover of night, and put into a completely new life. That’d be enough to make you cry. Cinderella was deprived of everything her entire life, and forced into slavery by her own stepmother. The one night she does something for herself, takes a chance, it becomes a disaster. She’s sure she’ll be found out. She didn’t wait for prince charming, she was trying to live a life she knew she deserved. And what the hell? How can you say Mulan did it right when she’s crossed out in the first picture herself? Moral of the story… Just because you cry, just because you’re hurt, just because you are a girl and are experiencing emotions, doesn’t mean it’s because of a boy. Think before you speak. OMG WHOEVER WROTE THAT WILL U MARRY ME Actually at this point in the story Jasmine was not yet betrothed to Jafar, she is crying because the boy she just met was put to death just for being with her. She believes that he died because of her. But yes your point is still valid. This is the truth.
